Are you spending too much time on Zoom calls that stress you out?
The same thing has been happening to us at RocklandWeb! We’ve been in (at least) a dozen Zoom meetings per week, since the COVID-19 peak. And since we anticipate this will be the new normal for quite some time, we decided it was time to spruce up our meetings a bit, and add some levity.
We hired a Llama.
Woodstock Animal Sanctuary, located in High Falls, NY – now offers to provide their rescued farm animals to attend Zoom meetings. This is a great idea for birthday parties or corporate events. Since we typically hold a meeting once a week with several of our team members, we figured it would be a great time to try out the concept. We were not disappointed.
In addition to the entertainment of watching various farm animals on our Zoom call, we also were educated on the mission of the Woodstock Animal Sanctuary. The Sanctuary has rescued nearly 400 animals in the past decade. Since funding was decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic, many farms across the United States shifted to innovative solutions to continue operations. This particular sanctuary, along with many others across the United States, have reported great success with this online program thus far. Donations have been very helpful over the past two months.
You can invite farm animals to your own online conference, too! Learn more at https://www.sweetfarm.org/goat-2-meeting.
